Synopsis : 1755, Denmark. Captain Ludvig Kahlen has set himself the goal of making the wild Danish moors habitable in order to establish a colony on behalf of King Frederick V. In exchange, he expects a royal title accompanied by honors and riches. However, Kahlen soon had an enemy on the spot. According to ruthless landowner Frederik de Schinkel, the land is already in his possession. When de Schinkel discovers that two of his workers have escaped to join Kahlen, he vows revenge. Undaunted, Kahlen enters the fray, risking his own life and that of his fledgling community.
