L'ENFANT AU GRELOT

A few days before Christmas, in the middle of a forest that looks like something out of a fairy tale, the silence softened by a thick layer of snow is shattered by the fall of an object from the sky: a mysterious wicker basket.

At the other end of the forest, the letter carrier Grand-Jacques is returning from his rounds on his bicycle. As he passes the basket, he is attracted by cries and screams. Inside, he discovers an infant swaddled up to his neck, resting on an embroidered cushion. In his little handcuff, the child fallen from heaven holds a strange bell. Grand-Jacques packs the abandoned toddler into his saddlebag and takes him to the orphanage run by the benevolent Mamie Rose. Charlie will grow up with this wonderful woman alongside six other adopted children.

A story that gets off to a flying start, full of suspense and tenderness, love and friendship. But where does this forgotten child who can speak to the stars come from?
