Synopsis: Traveling the abyss, underworld dog Rainer recounts the six lives of Conann, perpetually put to death by her own future, across eras, myths and ages. From her childhood, enslaved by Sanja and his barbarian horde, to her rise to the heights of cruelty at the gates of our world.
Mandico’s third feature premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in the Un certain regard section. Once again, he uses fantastical elements to create a gender-balanced world and characters.
