MASTERCLASS
One Thursday a month, Palace puts the spotlight on a technical film trade. In partnership with film schools, the Académie André Delvaux, the Wallonia-Brussels Federation and mediarte.
In December, Cassandre Warnauts will talk about international co-production on the film ANIMALE. The masterclass will be preceded by a screening of the film, and the meeting will take place in French.
Cassandre Warnauts joined the Frakas Productions team in 2007. Here, she develops majority features and co-produces international projects alongside Jean-Yves Roubin.
Marta Bergman’s “Seule à mon mariage” (2018), her first majority feature as producer, was selected in the ACID section at the Cannes Film Festival.
She is currently developing “Dissonance” first feature by Aline Magrez, “Krieg” by Delphine Noels and “Une vie à perdre” by Tawfik Sabouni. She currently co-produces a number of international projects for Frakas Productions, including Katell Quillevere’s “Le temps d’aimer”, Fyzal Boulifa’s “Les damnés ne pleurent pas”, Patric Chiha’s “La bête dans la jungle”, Davy Chou’s “Sans Retour” and Emma Benestan’s “Animale”. She also accompanies first films such as Stephan Castang’s “Vincent doit mourir” and Alina Serban’s “I Matter”.

Synopsis : Camargue, France – Infamous for its traditional bull race, an exhilarating and graceful challenge of agility and respect between man and beast. Surrounded by men, 22-year-old Nejma trains hard to fulfill her dream of winning the upcoming annual competition, but news of a rogue and violent bull on the loose terrifies the community. Young men are being murdered everywhere, and the beast is nowhere to be seen.
