Synopsis: 1770. Marianne is a painter and has to paint the wedding portrait of Héloïse, a young woman who has just left the monastery. Resisting her mariage, Héloïse refuses to pose. Marianne will have to paint in secret. Introduced to Héloïse as a lady companion, Marianne watches her.
