LUX – the European Film Audience Award (LUX Prize) was created in 2021 and is awarded by the European Parliament and the European Film Academy, in partnership with the European Commission and Europa Cinemas.
Three films have been shortlisted for the second edition of the LUX Audience Award:
- FLEE by Jonas Poher Rasmussen
- THE GREAT FREEDOM by Sebastian Meise
- QUO VADIS, AÏDA? by Jasmila Žbanić
During the week of 28 March 2022, as part of the LUX Prize Audience Week, simultaneous screenings of the selected films will be organised in many European cities, including Brussels. The Palace is joining the event and will present the film QUO VADIS, AÏDA? on Tuesday 29/03. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with the director Jasmila Žbanić.
