Synopsis: So-Young, a single mother, is raising her teenage son Dong-Hyun in the Canadian suburbs. Although she’s constantly confronted with cultural challenges, she’s convinced that life here has more to offer than in South Korea. But Dong-Hyun is increasingly curious about his Korean heritage and, in particular, his late father. When unexpected news brings them back to South Korea, they finally reconnect with their roots, and it’s time to confront the traumas of the past.
