Filmed at night from the rooftops of Tel Aviv over three years, NAZA reveals the mechanisms behind the Israeli bombings of Gaza and the massive loss of Palestinian civilian lives. To do so, Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor draw notably on investigative journalism published between 2023 and 2025 by The Guardian, the Israeli-Palestinian magazine +972, and the Hebrew-language outlet Local Call.
With NAZA, the directors return to the themes at the heart of No Other Land, the documentary they co-directed with Basel Adra and Hamdan Ballal, which won the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature in 2025.
