Exhibitions
As well as screening films, Le Palace is fully committed to its role as a vibrant cultural venue, hosting and organising exhibitions devoted to cinematic heritage and creativity. These offer visitors an opportunity to look at cinema from different perspectives, through its images, objects and archives, as well as the men and women who have shaped its history.
Le Palace has put on a number of major exhibitions, including those dedicated to Louis de Funès and Romy Schneider, originally conceived by the Cinémathèque française. Alongside this, the venue runs a programme of free exhibitions, showcasing private collections and work by photographers and artists, as well as archive material. So many complementary perspectives, fragments, echoes and forms of expression that come together to tell the story of cinema.
